Corporate Social Responsibility

Cura Software Solutions believes strongly in its responsibility to communities and the environment.  Accordingly, Cura has a number of CSR initiatives that it invests staff time and skill, donates equipment and makes charitable contributions towards.  Some of these are listed below:

Forty years ago, Helen Lieberman, stunned by the effects of poverty she saw around her, began a tiny programme to help mothers and children.  Today Ikamva Labantu is a massive organization that helps over a million people in need in South Africa. Ikamva builds and supports crèches, schools, senior and youth centres, programmes for the disabled, skills training and building initiatives.  It employs social workers, occupational therapists, community fieldworkers, nurses and teams of volunteers.  Ikamva Labantu develops solutions by South Africans for South Africans, building step by step, and person by person.  Uniquely, this charity works from the inside out, rather than from the outside in. Cura donates equipment, money, and staff time to assist Ikamva in building its infrastructure, administration and process functions so it can better serve its communities.

Cura has maintained a green and zero carbon emission policy since 2007.  Cura actively recycles all materials, disposes responsibly of all non bio-degradable materials and invests in carbon offsets.
